About the position

The Investment Bank - Origination & Advisory - Banker role focuses on providing comprehensive financial advisory and capital raising services, particularly in the healthcare sector. The position involves supporting the execution of live transactions, developing financial analyses, and maintaining communication with senior management. The role is designed for individuals with a strong background in M&A and capital markets, particularly within the Life Sciences space.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of live transactions for the Healthcare coverage team, including preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations.
• Analyze key attributes of client companies to evaluate and execute acquisitions, financings, and equity raising transactions.
• Develop and apply advanced financial analyses and models.
• Issue final reports of client interactions and discussions to senior management and maintain ongoing communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions in the Life Sciences space (pharma, biotech, spec pharma).
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle, including pitching and preparing marketing materials and financial models.
• Background in sciences or pharmaceutical sector is a plus (academic and/or work experience).
• Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred).
• Series 79, 63 licensing preferred.
