About the position

The Executive Director in Technology Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate and institutional clients. This position requires a strong business acumen and a proven track record in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while also supporting existing client relationships. The role involves advising clients on integrated financial solutions, coordinating deal execution, and participating in business events to pitch for new clients.

Responsibilities

• Work with financial solutions and execution teams to advise clients on integrated financial solutions including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and capital raises.
• Coordinate all deals and requests from clients with internal teams and external consultants.
• Provide timely market information to clients.
• Participate in business and company events to identify new business opportunities and pitch for new clients.
• Lead and/or participate in execution meetings with support from execution/product partners.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate concepts concisely and defend their validity.
• Very strong quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel modeling and valuation work.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, synthesizing large amounts of information to develop innovative solutions.
• Adaptability to manage projects independently and assume a high level of responsibility as a team member.
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional and mature manner.
• Excellent understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks.
