About the position

As an Investment Consultant at Charles Schwab, you will play a crucial role in the Branch Network, providing the foundational experience necessary to advance towards becoming a Financial Consultant. This position emphasizes proactive client engagement through outbound calls, needs-based analysis, and the delivery of tailored financial solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced Financial Consultants and develop your skills in building client relationships and understanding financial products.

Responsibilities

• Engage in proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients.
• Conduct needs-based analysis to uncover client opportunities.
• Position appropriate financial products and solutions based on client needs.
• Collaborate with Financial Consultants to learn best practices in client service.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• A valid and active Series 7 license is required.
• A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required.
• A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Ability to leverage business development experience.
• Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services.
• Openness to build strong client relationships.
