About the position

Reams Asset Management, an affiliate of Raymond James Investment Management, is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join our team in Boise, ID. This role is pivotal within our Investment Operations Department, where the successful candidate will be responsible for processing account transactions and reconciliations, generating reports, and serving as a liaison for both internal and external contacts. The Analyst will support the day-to-day resolution of complex investment accounting problems and will be involved in various process improvement projects. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. As an Investment Operations Analyst, you will assist with the administration of our portfolio accounting system, interpret and analyze information, and prepare detailed reports for management. You will be expected to resolve issues with a sense of urgency and lead small to medium-sized projects that vary in complexity. Building and managing relationships with both internal teams and external clients is essential, as is the ability to balance conflicting resource and priority demands. Additional responsibilities will be assigned based on your demonstrated competency in previous assignments, making this a dynamic and engaging role within our organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a natural curiosity.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in process improvement projects.
