About the position

The Investment Research Business Analyst Intern at MFS is designed to provide students with a meaningful work experience that complements their academic studies. This internship focuses on developing systems technology projects that meet the business needs of the MFS Investment Research division. Interns will engage in various structured activities to enhance their learning, including orientation, speaker series, and networking events, while gaining insights into the mutual fund industry and information technology within asset management.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of business activities to determine business requirements.
• Work with business users and product owners to understand requirements pertaining to industry, company, and customer needs.
• Collaborate with QA team in developing high-level test plans.
• Work with automated testing team for performance/load testing and regression testing as needed.
• Ensure a positive end-product for business stakeholders.
• Create and maintain proper training materials and business documentation.
• Support cross-departmental projects and follow the MFS Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in large data sets.
