About the position

The Investment Services Analyst I position at Wespath Benefits and Investments involves providing analytical, reporting, and client support for institutional investment products and services. The role focuses on enhancing the client experience to drive retention and support business development efforts, working closely with the Managing Director of Institutional Investment Services. The analyst will engage in various tasks, including report generation, client interaction, and competitive analysis, all aimed at improving service delivery and aligning with best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Institutional Investment Services department by analyzing, monitoring, and evaluating existing and prospective client and team needs.
  • Deliver high-quality client service to retain discretionary assets invested in Wespath's funds.
  • Create and distribute monthly and quarterly financial and investment-related reports.
  • Attend client and prospect meetings in a supportive role, presenting information as needed.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from the CIO, Investment Management, and Institutional Investment Services departments.
  • Present Wespath's institutional investment offering from a service perspective.
  • Identify major competitors' product and service models and monitor Wespath's competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Investment Analytics departments to update client reporting.
  • Ensure the client experience aligns with Wespath's brand and corporate identity.
  • Support gap analyses to ensure Wespath's service offerings appeal to target markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong PC skills in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for client presentations.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
