About the position

The Investment Specialist, Trade Operations role at Daley and Associates involves supporting the Trade Operations Group within a prominent Investment Management firm in Boston, MA. This position focuses on performing reconciliations, reporting, and ensuring data quality oversight, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of trade operations. The role is structured as a 4-6 month contract with a hybrid work model, requiring three days on-site and two days remote each week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Trade Operations Group in performing day-to-day operations.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly audit reports, including reconciliation reports, error reporting, data-checks, SLA Metrics, and frozen accounts.
• Oversee functions related to vendor outsourcing and ensure integrity of data related to retail SMAs.
• Pull data from multiple sponsor systems and conduct daily and T+1 reconciliations.
• Monitor model change rotations and review changes to rotation lists, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Support sales data management in performing reconciliations intended to ensure data integrity across internal systems.
• Ensure sponsor data loads upload to internal systems with accuracy and completeness.
• Work with internal and external teams to drive process improvement and promote consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Provide additional support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, mathematics, economics, or related field.
• 1-3+ years of investment operations, trade operations, or related experience in financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience utilizing Onbase and/or InvestCloud APL (Xceptor/AARI a plus).
