About the position

Legend Biotech is seeking an Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Specialist as part of the US Executive & IR team based in Somerset, NJ. This role is designed for a junior-level specialist who is familiar with both investor relations (IR) and public relations (PR) to support and enhance the company's reputation with both external and internal stakeholders. The specialist will work closely with the company's IR and PR leaders to execute a strategic communications plan that targets the media, investment community, patient advocacy groups, and employees. The Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Specialist will be responsible for drafting, editing, and coordinating the release of corporate presentations, investor presentations, press releases, and internal memos. They will support all aspects of quarterly earnings releases, including the preparation of earnings materials and webcasts. Additionally, the specialist will organize logistics and support the company's participation in investor and analyst events, such as conferences, meetings, and non-deal roadshows. This position also involves managing media, journalist, and investor inquiries, providing ongoing public and media relations support, including drafting social media posts, holding statements, and Q&A documents. The specialist will assist with media monitoring and summarizing analyst research reports, as well as support internal company meetings and initiatives, including global town halls and patient advocacy events.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit and coordinate the release of corporate presentations, investor presentations, press releases, and internal memos.
  • Support all aspects of quarterly earnings release including preparation of earnings materials and webcast.
  • Organize logistics and support the company's participation in investor and analyst events, such as conferences, meetings, and non-deal roadshows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration, finance, or communications.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, and/or corporate communications.
  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals or healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially good at Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team player with flexibility to support major ad-hoc projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
