About the position

Teal Communications, Inc. is seeking a motivated IoT Account Executive to drive business development and sales in the IoT networking sector. This role focuses on building strong relationships with customers, particularly OEMs and System Integrators, to articulate the value of Teal's offerings and contribute to revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a consultative approach to sales and a deep understanding of the IoT landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain sales forecasts and pipeline management.
  • Expand product knowledge to become a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Utilize tools like LinkedIn Navigator and ZoomInfo for networking and achieving sales metrics.
  • Continuously learn about the IoT industry, including business operations and challenges.
  • Participate in weekly team training and enablement programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer success, and product development.
  • Organize pipeline and collaborate with other Account Executives for qualified meetings.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and adaptability in conversations with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in high-tech sales.
  • Technologically proficient in IoT-related industries, including Infrastructure, Cloud, Modules, Platforms, and eSIM.
  • Experience in solution selling, business development, and sales relationship management.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work efforts in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
