As a pivotal team member, you will own the comprehensive, onsite installation process of the EcoPlant system from start to finish. This includes deploying sensors, managing wiring intricacies, configuring edge devices, and seamlessly integrating all components into the compressor controller. Collaborating closely with fellow EcoPlant service experts, you will develop installation plans and troubleshoot any challenges that arise onsite. Additionally, you will assume the role of site lead, overseeing and directing the activities of external contractors to ensure flawless execution. Responsibilities

  • Create installation plans based on finalized as-builts to ensure the efficient and effective installation of all necessary components.
  • Take ownership of the onsite installation process, encompassing tasks such as running CAT6 cable, safely installing flow and pressure sensors through the hot tap process, mounting NEMA boxes, executing terminations, and integrating with the compressor controller.
  • Program all necessary IoT devices and assume the role of site leader, overseeing the work of personnel, including contractors, as needed.
  • Partnering with the Ecoplant Tech Support team, ensure proper operation of all equipment and accurate data flow in collaboration with the Tech Support Team before departing from the site, as well as working with them to improve the pre-install and on-site installation processes.
  • Serve as Ecoplant's onsite liaison, promptly relaying any issues or observations to Tech Support to facilitate efficient oversight and problem resolution.
  • Lead the on-site troubleshooting efforts to complete root cause analysis and implement fixes.
  • Communicate clearly with the customer point of contact regarding any issues, progress updates, and to ensure alignment on the overall installation process.
  • Complete post-trip documentation, including but not limited to trip reports, communicating issues, updating as-built documentation, etc.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related technical field or 10+ years related experience.
  • Experience with industrial compressed air systems and controllers (installation, repair, maintenance, and/or audit).
  • Basic networking and/or industrial IT networking experience with willingness to learn new skills of installing IoT devices, including advanced industrial communication protocols.
  • Ability to read schematics and P&ID's.
  • Strong communication skills and technical problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the operation of an industrial compressed air system and controllers (repair, maintenance, and/or audit).
  • Basic IT / Networking knowledge and willingness to learn.
  • Proficient computer skills with ability to work independently and guide the work of others.
