About the position

The Mid-Level Mobile Development Tester role focuses on writing mobile automation code for Android and iOS applications. The position requires a strong background in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, with a specific emphasis on using Espresso for Android UI Testing. The tester will be responsible for executing and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and functionality of mobile applications across various devices and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Write mobile automation code leveraging Espresso for Android UI Testing.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Document and report defects found during testing, including detailed screenshots and video recordings.
• Test applications as users configured with different permissions.
• Utilize industry-standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• 3+ years of developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Experience with Espresso.
• Hands-on coding experience with Java, Kotlin, SWIFT, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ).
• Experience with Appium or other mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS apps.
• Strong interest in and demonstrated knowledge of various mobile devices and operating systems.
• Understanding of concepts and methods in client/server interactions.
• Strong understanding of mobile app testing methodologies, including functional, performance, usability, and compatibility testing.
