We are seeking a skilled and motivated iOS Developer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. In this hybrid role with our direct client, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions leveraging the Hadoop ecosystem to support critical business requirements. You will demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, improvement, and release of the Sam's Club iOS App. This position requires participation in peer code reviews and effective collaboration within an agile setup alongside designers, product managers, and peer developers. You will also provide and support the implementation of business solutions and mobile engineering support to the business, while troubleshooting business and production issues for mobile devices. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software. You will be expected to have experience with mobile software development using Swift and Objective-C, as well as experience using distributed source code version control systems such as Git/Github. Working within an agile development team is essential, as is familiarity with Apple SDKs for iOS development and software debugging techniques, including the use of debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools. Additionally, you should have experience analyzing memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzer tools like Instruments, and experience with embedded real-time systems with limited resources. You will also need to be proficient with command line XCode build tools for Continuous Integration, have a solid understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms, and experience in unit and integration testing of Objective-C code. A published iOS application is required, along with experience in iOS application development using Swift, working with APIs, and knowledge of agile methodology.
