About the position

Akkodis is seeking an iOS Developer for a contract position in Charlotte, NC. The role involves designing, developing, and prototyping iOS applications to support internal functionality while ensuring application stability. This position requires engagement throughout the app lifecycle, from concept to release, and collaboration with product teams to innovate and improve application quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype native iOS applications for internal use on tablets.
• Engage in the full app lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and release.
• Work closely with product teams to brainstorm new ideas, create designs, and estimate timelines.
• Implement best practices to improve application quality, processes, and tools.
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for all features under development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve app issues to ensure stability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in iOS app development.
• Proficiency in iOS development technologies, including Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience with the full app lifecycle, including design, deployment, and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical team members.
