CGI is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mobile platform for clients. This position is based in our Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, or Cleveland, OH offices, with a hybrid working model available. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical expert on a large-scale mobile development project that includes both on-shore and off-shore developers. As a Mobile Developer, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Managers to build native applications that meet client needs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the team produces functional, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to existing customer patterns. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical outputs, analyzing and estimating work for each sprint or release, and understanding the current state architecture of the enterprise to create a roadmap for future enhancements. You will develop mobile application code in coordination with other team members and integrate mobile applications with a centralized authentication application. Additionally, you will create Software Architecture Documents, High-Level and Low-Level Design documents, and Nonfunctional requirements for the project. Working in an Agile environment, you will adapt to changing business needs and requirements, and be hands-on in developing or fixing issues to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. You will also work closely with BA/QA team members to create test plans, ensuring that issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested. It is essential to follow software design patterns like MVP and MVVM to maintain the longevity and maintainability of the code. You will mentor the team, fostering a customer-centric approach and innovation in every activity, helping the team set benchmarks within the organization. Timely escalation of issues and concerns to leads is crucial to avoid impacts on timelines. You will participate in requirements gathering and analysis, applying your technological and domain knowledge to deliver developed or integrated components effectively. Your role will also involve triaging production support issues and leveraging your knowledge of biometric authentication and device capabilities such as Camera, Phone state, Location, Notifications, and Permissions management.
