About the position

The IOS Developer role is focused on developing and maintaining applications for the iOS platform. The position requires a strong background in software development, particularly in Objective-C and Swift, and emphasizes the importance of creating applications that meet high standards of quality and performance. The role is contract-based and requires the candidate to be onsite from Day 1 in Jersey City, NJ or New York City, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle.
• Collaborate with team members in Agile development processes, including daily scrums and iteration reviews.
• Implement automated testing and unit testing frameworks to ensure application quality.
• Utilize source control management for version control of code.

Requirements

• 8+ years of combined software/application development experience in Objective-C, C++, and Swift.
• Proficiency with Linux, Mac OS X, GNU tools, and scripting languages.
• Experience creating applications available in the Apple AppStore.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
