About the position

The iOS/macOS Developer position is a technical lead role requiring 6-8 years of experience in developing applications for iOS and macOS platforms. The role involves working onsite in Austin, TX, for three days a week, focusing on programming in Objective-C and Swift, and utilizing various frameworks and design patterns to create efficient and user-friendly applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of iOS and macOS applications.
• Utilize Objective-C and Swift programming languages for application development.
• Implement and maintain COCOA frameworks and design patterns.
• Optimize application performance through memory management and multithreading techniques.
• Handle API calls using REST and JSON formats.
• Integrate various frameworks and ensure their proper usage.
• Design user interfaces following macOS UI design principles and guidelines.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in iOS and macOS application development.
• Proficient in Objective-C and Swift (Swift 4/5).
• Strong understanding of COCOA frameworks and design patterns.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with memory management and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with multithreading and networking concepts.
• Understanding of data storage concepts and usage.
• Experience with macOS UI design principles and AppKit.
