Responsibilities
- Develop IP characterization and design view generation
- Provide library IP solutions, including standard cells, memories, and I/O's, and other design collateral
- Validation of third-party IP design collaterals
- Script development for IP QA automation
- Re-package and coordinate release of third-party IP
Requirements
- Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Understanding of CMOS devices and fabrication process to sufficient to run integrated circuit simulations and generate integrated circuit design views
- Knowledge of VLSI and APR sufficient to support the physical design engineering team on APR flow, view generation, and verification
- Knowledge of analog design flow including schematic entry, simulation, and layout sufficient to work effectively with integrated circuit schematics, simulations, and layout
- Proficiency in Perl scripting sufficient to script automation protocols related to IP characterization, design view generation, and library IP solutions
