About the position

The Interventional Radiology Technician position is a contract role focused on providing specialized radiographic services in a healthcare setting. The technician will work a 40-hour week with rotating on-call duties, ensuring a quick response time for patient care. This role requires adherence to state guidelines and involves working with various age groups in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform special radiographic examination procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with California state guidelines for patient ratios and care.
• Respond to on-call duties within a 30-minute timeframe.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Epic, for patient documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
• Active California Radiologic License (CDPH CA).
• AHA BLS certification.
• ARRT certification.
• Experience working with all age groups.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Level I Trauma and Cath Lab procedures.
