About the position

The Irrigation Pump Technician at ClearWater Engineering is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of irrigation, filtration, and aeration equipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, technical skills, and excellent customer service abilities, as technicians will work with various equipment types and ensure high customer satisfaction. The position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, repair and replace all brands and types of irrigation, aeration and filtration equipment.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through communication and follow-through with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized vehicle and job site.
• Maintain tools and parts inventory in a secure and accurate fashion.

Requirements

• 2+ years of electro-mechanical experience.
• 1+ years of repair & VFD experience is a plus.
• Excellent technical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, well-organized, and positive attitude.
• Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Comfortable with repetitive bending, squatting, twisting, and standing.
• Able to row a boat and swim if necessary.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Smartphone with data plan.
• 18 years of age or older.
