About the position

The Regional Sales Manager for Agriculture/Irrigation is responsible for driving sales growth in the Southeast region, focusing on building relationships with dealers and distributors. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in irrigation systems and strong sales capabilities to effectively support customers and manage sales activities in the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage total sales activities in the territory, including sales, marketing, and technical support.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support to customers.
  • Offer technical consulting on products to prospective irrigation customers, designers, architects, and engineers.
  • Manage and support dealers and distributors in the region.
  • Conduct extensive travel within the territory to meet with clients and partners.

Requirements

  • BA in an engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with familiarity in irrigation.
  • Technical experience in the agriculture irrigation market.
  • Knowledge and experience selling into the irrigation/pump industry.
  • Effective solution selling abilities.
  • Experience in conducting product seminars to large professional groups.
  • Ability to perform financial calculations, forecasting, and budget management.

Benefits

  • Direct hire position with a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
