About the position

The Irrigation Technician position is focused on providing service and maintenance for agricultural irrigation systems in Central Nebraska. The role requires diagnosing and repairing various irrigation equipment, including center pivots and pump controls, while ensuring high-quality service in a family-friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of agricultural irrigation systems, including center pivots and pump controls.
• Utilize hand tools and major service equipment provided by the employer to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Manage time effectively to complete service tasks efficiently and independently.
• Maintain a clean driving record while operating a company vehicle during working hours.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of center pivot service experience is preferred.
• Must have a farm or agricultural background with mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical components and pump controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of GPS technology is beneficial.
• Welding experience is useful but not necessary.
• Self-directed and detail-oriented work ethic is a must.
• Clean driving record is required.
