About the position

The IS Applications Analyst for Pharmacy at Providence plays a crucial role in managing and implementing technology solutions that support the healthcare organization’s operations. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of technical principles and the ability to apply them to solve moderately complex problems. The analyst will be responsible for managing small to moderately complex projects, establishing and implementing new or revised system requirements, and analyzing user requirements to develop and implement systems for various processes. The role involves coordinating activities of project teams and providing direction, training, and guidance to less experienced staff members. The analyst will also be expected to initiate course corrections to ensure projects stay on schedule while providing professional support across multiple facilities within the healthcare organization. In addition to technical responsibilities, the IS Applications Analyst will build and enhance effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts, including vendors and stakeholders. Collaboration with colleagues across Providence St. Joseph Health and Services (PSJHS) is essential for the successful delivery of cross-departmental projects. Responsibilities

  • Manage small and moderately complex projects related to healthcare applications.
  • Establish and implement new or revised system requirements or procedures.
  • Analyze user requirements and develop systems for moderately complex processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 4 years of industry-related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations.
  • 3 years of Healthcare IS experience.
  • Epic experience.
