About the position

The IS Applications Analyst for Pharmacy at Providence is a pivotal role that involves the full application of standard principles, theories, and concepts related to technical disciplines within the healthcare sector. This position is responsible for managing small to moderately complex projects, establishing and implementing new or revised system requirements, and analyzing user requirements to develop and implement systems for moderately complex processes. The analyst will coordinate the activities of project teams and provide direction, training, and guidance to less experienced departmental staff. A key aspect of this role is to initiate course corrections to ensure projects stay on schedule while providing professional support across a large multi-facility healthcare organization. In this role, the analyst will build and enhance effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts, including vendors and stakeholders, on behalf of Providence St. Joseph Health and Services. Collaboration with colleagues across various departments is essential for the successful delivery of specific cross-departmental projects and initiatives. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 4 years of industry-related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations.
  • 3 years of Healthcare IS experience.
  • Epic experience.
