About the position

The IS Applications Analyst position at Providence is designed for individuals who demonstrate full use and application of standard principles, theories, and concepts related to technical disciplines. This role involves providing solutions to a variety of moderately complex problems and managing small to moderately complex projects. The analyst will establish and implement new or revised system requirements or procedures, analyze user requirements, and develop and implement systems for moderately complex processes. Additionally, the analyst will coordinate activities of the project team and act as a source for direction, training, and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. It is essential to initiate course corrections to stay on schedule while providing professional support for a large multi-facility healthcare organization. In this role, the analyst will build and enhance effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts, vendors, and stakeholders on behalf of Providence St. Joseph Health and Services. Collaboration with colleagues across PSJHS is crucial for the delivery of specific cross-departmental projects and efforts. Responsibilities

  • Manage small and moderately complex projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 4 years of industry-related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations.
  • 3 years of Healthcare IS experience.
  • Epic experience.
