About the position

The IS Applications Analyst position at Providence is a critical role that involves the full application of standard principles, theories, and concepts related to technical disciplines. This position is responsible for managing small to moderately complex projects, establishing and implementing new or revised system requirements or procedures, and analyzing user requirements to develop and implement systems for moderately complex processes. The analyst will coordinate the activities of the project team and provide direction, training, and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. Additionally, the role requires initiating course corrections to stay on schedule while providing professional support for a large multi-facility healthcare organization. In this role, the IS Applications Analyst will build and enhance effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts, including vendors and stakeholders on behalf of Providence St. Joseph Health and Services. Collaboration with colleagues across PSJHS is essential for the delivery of specific cross-departmental projects and efforts. Responsibilities

  • Manage small and moderately complex projects related to applications and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 4 years of industry-related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations.
  • 3 years of healthcare IS experience.
  • Epic experience.
