About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer at Ochsner Health is responsible for designing, connecting, scheduling, and deploying business intelligence components, including reports and dashboards. This role involves data analysis, validation, and collaboration with business and technology departments to understand system data and its integration. The developer will monitor production systems for issues and provide necessary support.

Responsibilities

• Develop logical modeling and presentation solutions to implement requirements using best practices within the Business Intelligence environments
• Maintain and develop documentation to identify and define processes or procedures
• Manage data by following best practices
• Support and monitor business intelligence systems
• Administer business intelligence server(s) and/or processes
• Resolve production system issues or escalate them for resolution when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, or related field
• 1 year of SQL experience, data analysis, and data profiling
• Experience with relational database systems, reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence systems
• Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence concepts

Nice-to-haves

• Epic Certification (Cogito)
• 1 year of Oracle SQL experience
• 1 year of experience with Oracle relational database systems, reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition and/or Crystal Reports
