Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for on-premise SIEM, focusing on updating software and monitoring log data.
• Ensure data integrity and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve log quality.
• Execute incident response activities, including management and forensic analysis.
• Monitor SIEM data to troubleshoot and resolve log ingestion and storage issues.
• Identify areas for log data cleanup and optimization within the SIEM.
• Maintain security monitoring configurations to align with compliance standards for nuclear power facilities.
• Follow documentation and change management procedures for SIEM updates.
• Continuously evaluate the SIEM setup for enhancements to meet evolving security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT, with at least 3 years focused on SIEM administration and management.
• Strong knowledge of security event logging standards, data parsing, and event correlation.

Nice-to-haves

• Proven experience with Trellix SIEM software or similar SIEM platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements in critical infrastructure environments, preferably in the nuclear or energy sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
