About the position

Parker Aerospace, a segment of Parker Hannifin Corporation, is seeking an IS System/Technical Analyst 3 to join our team in Akron, OH. This position is integral to our operations, focusing on defining, configuring, testing, training, and supporting business-related information technology requirements and systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with Group and Division subject matter experts and third-party IT vendors to lead or co-lead technology or regional IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the expectations of stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex and global digital and IT project tasks that deliver business results. You will provide guidance to project resources across multiple teams, perform system analysis, and interpret data to identify gaps in technology or processes. Your recommendations will play a crucial role in the IT and business functions. You will also assist in the development and implementation of new technologies and services, ensuring effective communication and reporting to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. As the point of contact for communications and project expectations with third-party IT and service vendors, you will support and perform system/application upgrades of engineering software and licenses. Additionally, you will assist with the long-term migration to standard engineering tools and CMMC remediation for applications. This position requires managing your own priorities while providing direction, guidance, and mentoring to team members. You will conduct knowledge transfer and cross-training sessions, empowering your team to provide feedback and deliver quality solutions. Your expertise will be essential in establishing and maintaining information systems, databases, and interfaces to meet business objectives. You will monitor and manage user accounts for hardware, network, and related computer systems, addressing complex usability problems and ensuring maximum uptime and minimal disruption to user activity. Furthermore, you will analyze, develop, and implement business solutions for the Information Services Delivery Function, building, configuring, installing, maintaining, and upgrading computer systems hardware and software. Acting as a lead in Information Services projects, you will perform analysis and implement multi-function office systems, contributing to the overall success of Parker Aerospace.

Responsibilities

  • Leads directly or co-leads complex and/or global digital and IT project tasks delivering business results that meet deadlines.
  • Performs system analysis, interprets data to identify gaps in technology or processes, and makes recommendations within the IT and/or business function.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new technologies/services, including communication and reporting to key stakeholders on status and project closure.
  • Communicates decisions and formalizes recommendations impacting area of responsibility to manager and business partners and key stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Acts as the point of contact for communications and project expectations with third-party IT and service vendors.
  • Supports and performs system/application upgrades of engineering software and licenses, assisting with long-term migration to standard engineering tools and CMMC remediation for applications.
  • Manages own priorities and provides direction, guidance, and mentoring to team members.
  • Delivers multiple solutions while managing conflicting priorities and resources.
  • Conducts knowledge transfer and/or cross-training with team members, empowering and encouraging feedback on ideas that deliver quality solutions.
  • Performs a wide range of complex work to establish and maintain information systems, databases, and interfaces to meet business objectives.
  • Provides significant expertise in monitoring and managing user accounts for hardware, network, related computer systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Identifies and addresses complex usability problems while monitoring and managing user accounts.
  • Responds to and resolves computer problems quickly to ensure maximum uptime and minimum disruption to user activity.
  • Analyzes, develops, and implements business solutions for the Information Services Delivery Function.
  • Builds, configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades computer systems hardware and software.
  • Acts as a lead in Information Services projects, performs analysis, and implements multi-function office systems.

Requirements
