The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role at Apple is designed for early career professionals who are passionate about ensuring the reliability and performance of high-volume, mission-critical enterprise platforms and applications. This position involves strategic engineering and data science skills, along with hands-on technical work, to support Apple's manufacturing and product lifecycle. The SRE will have the opportunity to shape and improve software solutions that impact billions of customers, working in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability and performance of high-volume, mission-critical enterprise platforms and applications.
• Develop and maintain tools and automations for managing Apple's product lifecycle management ecosystem.
• Deploy, support, and monitor compute platforms and application stacks.
• Debug and root cause issues, with a focus on automating repetitive tasks.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve systems.
• Collaborate effectively across multiple business and technical teams to deliver results on time with high quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in Computer Science Fundamentals.
• Relevant internship experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, processes, and best practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Database/SQL knowledge.
• Java and JVM technologies runtime configurations and troubleshooting.
• Experience with application design, development, and API programming using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate.
• Knowledge of network, system, and application security, including Public Key Infrastructure.
• Self-motivated, independent, and dedicated with strong organizational skills.
