About the position

The Intelligent System Experience Special Projects team at Apple is seeking extraordinary machine learning engineers to create intelligent and natural system experiences. This role involves all stages of incubation, including ideation, development, and experimentation, with a focus on designing high-performance machine learning models that enable new system experiences. The team emphasizes collaboration across various subject areas and aims to shape the future of system experiences within the Apple ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance machine learning models.
• Collaborate with designers, software/hardware engineers, and applied R&D teams.
• Participate in all stages of incubation including ideation, development, and experimentation.
• Explore and prototype novel ideas in system experience with a focus on future technologies.

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in machine learning or related fields.
• Experience delivering consumer-facing solutions to new industry problems at scale.
• Proficiency in C, C++ or Python.
• Excellent communication skills.
