About the position

The ISO Assistant General Manager at Advance Auto Parts is a professional-level sales and entry-level management position focused on supporting the functions of a strategic account business. Responsibilities

• Achieve overall service objectives
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships/sales
• Build and hold team accountable to executing Customer action plans
• Coach, schedule, and engage store Team Members
• Assist ISO GM in ensuring the execution of all inventory and operational standards
• Coach Team Members to deliver on Customer expectations
• Manager on duty responsibilities including coaching, phone management, task assignment, safety, and open/close duties
• Assist ISO GM with leading change management
• Embrace diversity and foster a respectful environment for both Customers and Team Members

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10 - 20 Team Members in a fast-paced retail or inside sales environment
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in business or a related area preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Working knowledge of automotive systems preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; PowerPoint preferred
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and sales increases
• Ability to review and analyze business reports, such as profit and loss statements

Nice-to-haves
