About the position
This position is located at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) in the Mid-Atlantic District, Fort Liberty, North Carolina. The role involves providing coaching and guidance to World Language educators and educational leaders in grades 6-12, focusing on the implementation of effective teaching practices and professional development within a student-centered learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide coaching (both in-person and virtually) to 6-12 World Language educators/educational leaders.
- Guide leadership/leadership team(s) in the school-wide implementation planning, including professional development and scheduling.
- Foster professional practice improvement of teachers in a 6-12 World Language learning environment.
- Implement 6-12 World Language instruction within student-centered learning environments.
- Advise educators in leveraging interpreted data to improve teaching effectiveness.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master's degree in the field of Education is required.
- Specialized experience of at least 5 years in teaching, educational research, or educational administration in grades 6-12 World Language.
- Current certification or certifiability under DoDEA standards in any grades 6-12 World Language.

- Coursework in learning theory, educational psychology, instructional design practices, educational evaluation, instructional product development, and computers in education and training.
