About the position

The ISSM/RMF Analyst (Junior Level) position at PeopleTec is designed for entry-level candidates, particularly recent graduates or those with up to two years of technical experience. The role involves supporting the Army Materiel Command/Installation Management Command's Cyber Security Program by reviewing RMF Certification and Accreditation documentation, developing security policies, and providing guidance on cyber security issues. The analyst will work under the supervision of a senior analyst and will have the opportunity to engage in both on-site and telework environments.

Responsibilities

• Review RMF packages including System Categorizations, Security Plan, and Authorization Packages (A&A, Access Only).
• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks, and databases.
• Implement, enforce, communicate, and develop security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and information systems security education/awareness programs.
• Perform analysis on AMC/IMCOM system problems.
• Work with AMC/IMCOM system users to define problem areas, data availability, and report requirements.
• Define AMC/IMCOM system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet user requirements.
• Implement AMC/IMCOM system design specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience or 4+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• Security+ Certification.
• Experience supporting DoD RMF process is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required upon hire.
