About The Position

Nature's Sunshine is looking for the absolute best Issuing Operator to help us manufacture the highest-quality natural health and wellness products for our customers. The Issuing Operator has an important job helping to mix and sift our quality ingredients. We have a flexible schedule working four days per week. Requirements

• Experience using metric system weights and measurements
• Experience with operating processing equipment
• Basic math skills
• General computer skills helpful
• Experience following written instructions and procedures
• Experience keeping accurate records on work orders
• Ability to maneuver heavy weight
• Experience with tasks requiring proficient hand-eye coordination
• Experience working effectively in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Set up scales and other issuing equipment
• Issue product-to-work orders
• Monitor quality of production runs using scales
• Compare product with prior runs
• Operate mixing equipment
• Operate bin washing equipment
• Recommend changes to operational procedures on a run-by-run basis, as conditions change
• Clean equipment and room thoroughly
• Maintain records of production runs
• Communicate relevant information to coworkers
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
