About The Position
The IST - Local Area Network Coordinator is responsible for the planning, design, operation, and management of instructional and non-instructional microcomputer networks within Polk County Public Schools. This role involves coordinating the installation and maintenance of network hardware and software, overseeing local area network stations, and facilitating communication between staff and vendors on technology-related projects. The coordinator also provides training to local staff and conducts technology reviews to ensure compliance with district standards.
