About the position
The Information Technology Administrator at Sonsray Inc. is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user support. This role involves a variety of tasks including hardware and software management, technical support, system performance monitoring, and implementation of security measures.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all IT hardware and software, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and network equipment.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and systems.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in IT administration.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure, GCP), scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python), cybersecurity (antivirus software, vulnerability management), ticketing systems, and VoIP technology.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V).
- Certifications in relevant technologies (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+).
