About the position

The IT Administrator will provide essential onsite support in Chelsea, MA, focusing on IT asset management, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and supporting network infrastructure. This role requires occasional after-hours support and is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency of IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee IT inventory and asset management.
  • Perform software installations and manage system patches.
  • Ensure system security and compliance with protocols.
  • Deliver on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Resolve network-related issues and provide infrastructure support.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to address operational issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of IT support experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VPN, and network protocols.
  • Proficient in Active Directory and Microsoft O365.
  • Experience with mobile device support.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.
