About the position

The IT Administrator role at Deloitte involves providing operational and technical support to the Department of Defense's Far East IT Division. Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and technical support to the Front Office of the DoD FE Command.
  • Support includes mobile phone encryption, VPN authentication, Wi-Fi, and conferencing solutions.
  • Maintain appropriate cybersecurity certification and training requirements.
  • Escalate issues to the Enterprise Service Desk on behalf of customers.
  • Adhere to enterprise rules and best practices for hardware and software management.
  • Act as a technical liaison between the DoD, OneNet, DISA, and the State Department.
  • Analyze technical problems and provide solutions for internal DoD organizations.
  • Facilitate technical solutions between different organizations.
  • Process customer IT requests and manage service provider interactions.
  • Diagnose and resolve IT problems reported by end users.
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues.
  • Deploy new technology and ensure compliance with security rules.
  • Provide remote support for teleworking users.
  • Diagnose and resolve telecom problems and provide mobile device support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity related field.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience providing IT support and systems administration.
  • 1 year of help desk support specifically for mobile devices.
  • Experience providing IT support to a DoD program office.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting telephones, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Certifications: Security+, MCTS, MCSA.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with iOS mobile devices.
  • Demonstrated experience initiating, installing, and configuring software and hardware.
