About the position

The IT Administrator will lead the administration and configuration of the Teamcenter PLM system, focusing on installation, customization, and troubleshooting. This role involves providing global customer production support, utilizing 3-D CAD/CAE models, and ensuring the stability and performance of applications across various environments. The IT Administrator will also engage in knowledge transfer with team members and provide technical leadership to junior administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration and configuration of the Teamcenter PLM system.
  • Provide global customer production support using BMC or IT Connect system.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to other administrators and teams.
  • Perform analysis of Windows and UNIX hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot software code by extracting log files and creating zip files for analysis.
  • Manage system operations across Windows, Unix, and Linux environments.
  • Administer Oracle and SQL Server databases, including creation and maintenance procedures.
  • Develop and implement system monitoring solutions to identify performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior administrators.

Requirements

  • Experience with Teamcenter PLM system administration and configuration.
  • Proficiency in Windows and UNIX server environments.
  • Strong knowledge of 3-D CAD/CAE applications.
  • Experience with database administration (Oracle and SQL Server).
  • Ability to perform data analysis tasks, including data cleansing and transformation.
  • Experience in root cause analysis during application failures.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and application services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Jenkins for software deployment.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk.
  • Knowledge of UNIX programming and Windows programming languages.
  • Experience in cloud computing and system monitoring.
