About the position
The IT - Analysis / Development position is focused on troubleshooting and supporting software and systems used in law enforcement and public safety. The role involves interacting with various stakeholders, including law enforcement partners and vendors, to ensure the smooth operation of critical systems and data exchanges. The position requires a strong technical background in Linux, SQL, and system interfaces, with a preference for candidates who have experience in law enforcement systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot existing software, configurations, and associated interfaces.
- Interact with internal and external customers, law enforcement client partners, and third-party vendors.
- Provide support for data exchanges, including Open Data.
- Provide technical support for critical system changes, upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Support application and interfaces as a systems analyst.
Requirements
- Experience in Linux, TSQL/SQL, Message Queue (IBM MQ), and Shell scripting.
- Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting Law Enforcement Critical Systems and Interfaces.
- Database development experience, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
