About the position

The IT Analyst 3 - Epic Radiant, Inpatient Imaging position at Tampa General Hospital involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities centered around the analysis and support of application systems. Under the direct supervision of a manager or director, the Analyst III is tasked with performing routine analysis, which includes evaluating hardware and software based on end-user criteria. This role is crucial in ensuring that the technology used within the hospital aligns with the operational and strategic objectives of the departments served. In addition to routine analysis, the Analyst III will engage in workflow analysis, design, development, testing, training, implementation, management, and support of assigned application systems and projects. This position requires direct interaction with department managers and senior-level staff to provide automation services that enhance departmental efficiency. The Analyst is also responsible for maintaining system specifications and technical documentation, ensuring that all processes are well-documented and accessible. The role includes acting as a liaison between Information Technology vendors and Tampa General Hospital, facilitating communication and collaboration to meet the hospital's needs. Participation in and leadership of department and hospital task forces, focus groups, and committees is also expected, as assigned by the supervisor. This collaborative approach is essential for achieving group objectives and ensuring that the technology solutions implemented are effective and beneficial to the hospital's operations. The Analyst III must employ intermediate analytical and technical evaluative processes, along with managerial and interpersonal skills, to succeed in this role. All job duties must be performed in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analysis of hardware and software based on end-user criteria.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of information technology/applications experience including design, build, test, and support of job-related applications or equivalent healthcare-related experience.
  • Industry recognized certification(s) if applicable to position.
  • Epic - Radiant Certified.
