About the position

The IT Analyst for End User Services at MillerKnoll is responsible for enhancing IT technologies and processes while providing support to resolve IT issues. This role involves collaborating with end users and IT teams to address technical inquiries, fulfill IT requests, and ensure adherence to service level agreements. The analyst will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance on technology best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and communication of improvements to IT technologies and processes.
  • Solve IT problems and execute solutions independently.
  • Work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
  • Coach others on basic IT tasks.
  • Complete IT tasks under the oversight of leadership.
  • Follow established IT processes and procedures.
  • Present work output clearly and concisely.
  • Seek and receive mentoring from senior IT leadership.
  • Work with end users and IT teams to resolve incidents and fulfill IT requests.
  • Uphold Service Level Agreements for timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Identify recurring incidents and route problems for root cause analysis.
  • Provide system enhancement recommendations to better serve end users.
  • Participate in the service enhancement process focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Provide technology guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
  • Participate in the creation and management of IT knowledgebase articles.
  • Design and deliver modern endpoint technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant academic discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of professional IT & IS experience.
  • Knowledge of current trends and technology to support business partners.
  • Proficient understanding of how technology solves business problems.
  • Broad technology background with experience in end user computing technologies.
  • Knowledge of modern desktop management and mobile device management concepts.
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment technologies.
  • Ability to support multiple technologies and manage concurrent projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn necessary skills for requests.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with enterprise-wide application management.
  • Experience with Tanium, Jamf, and/or SOTI MobiControl.
  • Experience with Active Directory and GPOs.
  • Experience with desktop virtualization.
  • Experience with Endpoint security practices and concepts.
