About the position

The IT Analyst - End User Services role at MillerKnoll focuses on improving IT technologies and processes while providing support to end users. The position involves problem-solving, collaboration with IT teams, and coaching others on basic IT tasks. The analyst will work to uphold service level agreements, identify recurring incidents, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and communication of improvements to IT technologies and processes.
  • Provide support by solving IT problems and executing solutions.
  • Actively seek to learn new IT skills and apply them to work assignments.
  • Apply problem-solving skills and execute solutions to problems independently.
  • Work successfully in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
  • Coach basic IT tasks to others.
  • Complete IT tasks within oversight of leadership.
  • Follow IT processes & procedures.
  • Present work output in a clear and concise manner.
  • Seek and receive mentoring from senior level and IT leadership.
  • Work with end users and other IT teams to answer technical questions and resolve incidents.
  • Uphold Service Level Agreements to ensure timely resolution of incidents & requests.
  • Identify recurring incidents and route problems for root cause analysis.
  • Provide system enhancement recommendations to better serve end users.
  • Participate in the service enhancement process with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Provide technology guidance to other IT teams through knowledge of hardware and software standards.
  • Participate in the creation and management of IT knowledgebase articles.
  • Participate in the design and delivery of modern endpoint technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant academic discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of professional IT & IS experience.
  • Knowledge of current trends and technology to support business partners.
  • Proficient understanding of how technology solves identified business problems.
  • Broad technology background with experience across end user computing technologies and platforms.
  • Knowledge of modern desktop management and mobile device management concepts.
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple technologies and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong ability to solve technical challenges and learn necessary skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with enterprise-wide application management.
  • Experience with Tanium, Jamf, and/or SOTI MobiControl.
  • Experience with Active Directory and GPOs.
  • Experience with desktop virtualization.
  • Experience with Endpoint security practices and concepts.
