About the position

The IT Analyst I position at E-logic involves supporting the IRS by utilizing Aternity Software to monitor and enhance the performance of IT systems. The role requires a strong background in IT systems administration and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. The incumbent will work closely with other systems analysts to document requirements and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assists other systems analysts assigned to the project.
• Analyzes business and end-user needs, documents requirements and use cases, and maps existing computer system logic and workflow.
• Installs, configures, and maintains Aternity Software to monitor the performance and user experience of IRS IT systems.
• Responds to alerts and incidents detected by Aternity Software, troubleshoots technical issues, and implements solutions to minimize downtime and disruption to IRS operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• One to two years demonstrated performance in business/technical IT systems analysis.
• Experience of 3 years with Aternity Software is preferred.
• Experience in Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, databases, and applications.
• Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and generating actionable insights from monitoring tools like Aternity.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Productivity Solutions Expert or CompTIA Network+ certification.
