About the position

The IT Analyst II at CEVA Logistics is responsible for conducting business analysis related to software, processes, and design for project planning, requirements analysis, software testing, and end-user training activities. This role aims to provide analytical advice and recommendations to IT senior management to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze organizational needs related to software, processes, or controls and provide analytical advice to IT senior management.
• Establish specifications and objectives based on business requirements and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate and recommend modifications of basic IT systems to improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating costs.
• Coordinate activities of cross-functional teams to achieve various aspects of IT projects, including work plans and system design.
• Provide input throughout projects on feasibility, design, testing, process flow, and controls.
• Work with the business to provide data, systems, and technology for effective use of business applications and processes.
• Follow established policies and procedures; determine and recommend potential enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and related job-specific software applications.
• Ability to learn and understand complex computer hardware and software technology.
• Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Certifications and professional credentials may be required for this position.
• Advanced business analysis skills.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in requirements gathering, configuration, and testing.
• Some knowledge of project lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge of the specific applications supported.
• Strong IT background and experience in application issues resolution.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a business, process, or functional analyst for an IT organization.
