About the position

As an IT Analyst III at Williams, you will be responsible for delivering software solutions and maintaining existing applications to optimize organizational functioning. This role emphasizes efficiency, problem-solving, and technical skills, providing an opportunity to grow and learn within a supportive environment that values diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Provides application software development services or technical support
  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications
  • Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications
  • Analyzes requirements and maintains, tests and integrates application components in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Provides systems analysis, design and development, including requirements, design, construction, testing and implementation
  • Works with the defined business and technical requirements to provide software solutions for implementation into the current environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum twelve (12) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum eight (8) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum five (5) years' IT experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in Oracle PL/SQL development

Nice-to-haves

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in programming languages, Java, Object-Oriented programming concepts and design patterns, in browser technologies (HTML5, Angular, Javascript, Jquery, CSS3)
  • Prior experience with energy - measurement, trading, scheduling, and accounting
  • Software Development using a wide variety of development languages including Angular .NET, Java and Microsoft SSIS
  • Experience developing in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platform
  • Working knowledge of Windows & Unix Servers
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies such as Scrum
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
