About the position

The IT Analyst IV at MoneyGram is responsible for developing and executing regression test strategies and plans to ensure software applications meet quality standards. This role involves creating and maintaining automated testing frameworks, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. The position is fully remote and requires a strong background in Quality Engineering and automation testing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regression test strategies and test plans to ensure software quality.
  • Execute regression test cases and communicate results to leadership and development teams.
  • Create and maintain automated testing frameworks including keyword, data-driven, and behavior-driven solutions.
  • Develop modular, reusable automated UI and API test scripts for various applications.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
  • Work with cloud environments to implement parallel test automation executions.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues encountered during testing.
  • Review test cases and automated scripts created by team members for proper coverage.
  • Define best practices and guidelines for Quality Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • 7 years of experience as an IT Analyst across multiple application platforms.
  • 7 years of experience in planning and creating automation frameworks.
  • 7 years of experience in planning, creating, and executing automated test scripts.
  • Experience leading and managing activities on multiple cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in researching and analyzing software application problems.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with business and technical partners.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency with Katalon Studio, Selenium, Java, Groovy, TestNG, Oracle, SQL, UNIX, SoapUI, Appium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Swagger, and SOAP/RESTful API Services.
