About the position
Credence is seeking an IT Analyst/Specialist to join the FedMall/STORES program team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team of professionals in software engineering, project management, and cybersecurity, while also providing a pathway for career growth in software development and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Learn about program mission objectives and processes to achieve those objectives
- Understand the architecture of program applications and systems
- Participate in software development planning and engineering activities
- Perform implementations of assigned plans, including system builds, test plans, documentation, and training
- Implement, document, and deploy data security projects, Change Management, ongoing maintenance activities, and software engineering support
- Execute tasks based on service requests and document changes
- Coordinate a wide range of system administration duties on applications and databases, including engineering, installation, troubleshooting, data protection, and optimization
- Gather requirements from end-users of FedMall/STORES and convert them into programmable user stories
- Provide helpdesk support to FedMall/STORES end-users
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years related technical work experience
- Ability to work and produce results in an Agile and fast-paced environment with dynamic deadlines
- Familiarity with basic cloud concepts
Nice-to-haves
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Level Certification
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Existing DoD Public Trust
