About the position

The IT Analyst for Vendor and Asset Management at ABA Centers of America is responsible for managing vendor relationships and overseeing IT procurement and asset lifecycles. This role ensures accurate cost allocation across business units, maintains compliance, and supports organizational objectives while driving continuous improvements in vendor and asset management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor services to meet performance and cost goals, collaborating with finance, legal, and compliance partners.
  • Supervise and improve the IT purchasing process, review and approve invoices, and maintain budget alignment.
  • Assist procurement and legal teams with contract management to ensure vendor agreements meet operational needs.
  • Track, renew, provision, recover, and ensure compliance for software licenses, maximizing utilization and managing costs.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of software and hardware assets, focusing on mobile devices and laptops.
  • Administer processes to allocate software and hardware asset costs accurately across business units.
  • Schedule and lead vendor review meetings to drive service improvements and cost control.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure IT assets and vendor services adhere to standards.
  • Generate reports on vendor performance, cost allocation, and asset utilization using Excel, PowerBI, or other tools.
  • Drive continuous improvements to streamline vendor and asset management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in vendor or asset management roles.
  • ITIL certification or similar IT service management certification.
  • Software Asset Management (SAM) certifications, such as IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM).
  • Project management experience or certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP).
  • IT audit or compliance certifications, such as CISA or CRISC.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems and licensing tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, or Ivanti.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools like Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and optimizing processes.
