About the position

The ERP IT Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other business systems, focusing on improving technology and processes within the organization. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translating them into actionable technical requirements, and supporting the implementation of IT solutions. The analyst will also be responsible for data analysis, project coordination, and change management to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for ERP and other business systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement in technology and processes.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional/technical requirements.
  • Configure, test, train, and support business-related IT requirements and systems.
  • Research and analyze user's business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Write test plans in support of business functions, process knowledge, and system requirements.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting, including complex datasets and data mapping.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication and training.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Accountable for delivery of solutions and documentation within technical expertise.
  • Establish methods to monitor and improve performance of systems and processes.
  • Identify deficiencies in IT systems/processes and recommend solutions.
  • Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business.

Requirements

  • 4-year University / College Degree and significant technical/business certifications.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Information Technology.
  • Solid knowledge of business and ERP processes in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience with SAP or Infor Visual ERP is a plus.
  • Experience in handling business processes for manufacturing, finance, and supply chain.
  • Proficient in IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, development, testing, project management, and change management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
